Job summary

CVS Health in Indiana is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, assist our pharmacy team, and contribute to safe, accurate dispensing and compassionate patient care.

You will gain hands-on experience, learn SOPs, and support immunization services and other customer care initiatives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure.
• Eligible for part-time pharmacy internship in CVS Health program.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and leadership exposure.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled safely.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety, privacy, and compliance.
• Provide counseling and respond to medication questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law.
• Travel to stores in the market to support staffing needs.
