Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Indiana to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap that spans store, district, and regional operations, gaining hands-on experience with a pharmacy team.

You will help ensure safe, timely prescription fulfillment, adhere to SOPs, and develop communication and empathy while supporting immunizations and patient services.

Qualifications

• Required: Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on KLEs and growing clinical and technical knowledge.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Follow all SOPs at each workstation and support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law.
• Provide counseling and field medical questions under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Contribute to a high-performing team with attendance, reliability, and flexibility to travel to stores as needed.
