Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program to translate classroom learning into real-world practice. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap designed to show you what it’s like to be part of a pharmacy team while gaining an overview of store, district, and regional operations.

You will gain hands-on experience by a roadmap with KLEs, activities, and time with district leaders.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to pharmacy team needs while following SOPs to ensure patient safety.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and patient counseling.
• Support immunizations and other allowed services in-store when applicable.
• Travel to stores across the market as needed to support operations.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with federal/state regulations and CVS policies.
