Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in Florida. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap with KLEs, SOPs, and team collaboration to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

You will gain hands-on experience, develop clinical and technical knowledge, and may support immunizations and offsite clinics where permitted by law, while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and patient service while following SOPs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Participate in immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts under supervision.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs as required.
