Job summary

CVS Health in Orlando is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate classroom learning into real-world practice. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or accepted to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Comply with SOPs, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Learn and apply SOPs and best practices under supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring patient service in all interactions.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training.
