Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school while gaining hands-on experience under a licensed pharmacist, learning SOPs, and supporting immunizations and clinical services where allowed.

This part-time internship emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and adherence to professional standards, with opportunities to grow toward a Pharmacist role within CVS

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Support patient care with empathy, including immunizations and clinic services where allowed.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to learn store, district, and regional operations.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members; maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and appropriate handling of medications.
