Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription services in a CVS pharmacy environment. You will apply didactic learning to real-world tasks while learning from a licensed pharmacist and preceptors.

You will gain hands-on experience with dispensing, immunizations, patient counseling, and SOP adherence, while developing clinical and technical knowledge across store operations and patient care duties.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
• Must have, or be pursuing, intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, immunizations, and calls.
• Counsel patients and gather medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Maintain SOPs and high standards of patient safety and privacy.
• Support inventory and store operations as directed.
