Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in retail locations to translate didactic learning into real-world practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You’ll participate in a comprehensive training roadmap with exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will gain hands-on experience in prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, immunizations, and other services while developing leadership and clinical skills for future Pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on KLEs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Learn SOPs and regulatory requirements under a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed.
