Job summary

CVS Health in Lincoln, NE is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams, apply didactic learning, and gain hands-on experience toward a Pharmacist role.

Under supervision, you will assist with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, counseling, and customer service, while following SOPs and participating in a training roadmap designed to build clinical and operational skills for greater responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of Pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient care.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow stations.
• Counsel patients, field medical questions, and obtain relevant medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Support immunization services and participate in vaccine administration where allowed by state law.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with dispensing and closings as directed.
