Job summary

CVS Health in Nebraska is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team in a retail setting. You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice, complete a structured training roadmap, and support pharmacists in dispensing, immunizations, and patient counseling.

Under a preceptor, you will learn store operations, SOPs, and how to deliver safe, compassionate care while balancing scheduling and business needs across shifts in the market.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed.
• Learn and follow SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Provide empathetic patient service and counseling under supervision.
• Assist with inventory and pharmacy operations to maintain workflow.
