Job summary

CVS Health in retail locations is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend work as scheduled, including nights and weekends.
• Learn and follow SOPs to ensure patient safety and accuracy of prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians with routine tasks and customer service.
• Counsel patients and answer questions under pharmacist supervision when appropriate.
• Support immunization and point-of-care services as allowed by state law.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts as directed by pharmacy leadership.
• Travel to stores in the market to support staffing needs.
