Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS Pharmacy teams. Under a pharmacist’s supervision, you will follow a structured training roadmap, help ensure safe, timely prescription fulfillment, and support patient care in a fast-paced retail setting across stores in the market.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular attendance including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunizations and other services.
• Counsel patients and collect medical history information when appropriate under supervision.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and clarifications under state regulations.
