Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail locations. You will apply academic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap that covers diverse pharmacy operations and patient-facing activities.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing while developing skills for increasing responsibility in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and care in patient interactions.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law.
