Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our Retail locations. You will apply pharmacy school learnings under a preceptor, complete a comprehensive training roadmap, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and promptly, while learning through hands-on experience, SOPs, and compassionate patient care. Immunizations and other services may be offered where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Availability for shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and communicate with prescribers when needed.
• Participate in training roadmap and SOPs to develop skills and patient care.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support operations.

Education
