Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program at our Chicago stores. You will apply didactic knowledge from pharmacy school to real‑world practice, under a preceptor, and gain hands‑on experience across store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment, while developing leadership and communication skills in a supportive, inclusive environment. This is a part‑time role with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE‑accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KPIs and SOPs under a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and with empathy.
• Provide counseling and information to patients within scope of supervision and state regulations.
• Support immunization and point‑of‑care services where allowed by law.
• Maintain inventory and participate in daily pharmacy operations as directed.
