Job summary

CVS Health in Illinois is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams while applying didactic learning to real-world practice. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap and participate in store, district, and regional operations.

You’ll help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy school enrollment is required.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services under supervision.
• Provide patient counseling and support at pickup, drive-thru, and phone interactions.
