Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our stores. You will apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy practice under a licensed pharmacist guidance, preparing for future pharmacist responsibilities and gaining exposure to store operations.

The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork with pharmacists, technicians, and leaders across districts. This part-time program includes development opportunities and a pathway toward increased responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Counsel patients, answer questions, and collect medical history when appropriate.
• Support immunizations and other services where permitted by state law.
• Maintain inventory and participate in cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
