Job summary

CVS Health in Illinois is looking for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will follow SOPs, support drug dispensing, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

You will complete a structured training roadmap emphasizing key learning experiences and hands-on practice, including immunizations where allowed, to prepare for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or active status.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong customer service and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and assist Pharmacists and Technicians in safe medication dispensing.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring patient service.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Maintain communication with pharmacists to ensure accurate labeling and safety.
