Job summary

CVS Health in McKinney, TX is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, SOPs, and patient care while developing clinical and technical knowledge for future pharmacist roles.

You will participate in a structured training roadmap with KLEs, activities, and leadership interaction, contributing to safe, accurate medication handling and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and customer service to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Provide counseling and answer medical questions under supervision when appropriate.
• Maintain inventory and support pharmacy operations and team mentoring.
