Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Frisco, TX seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for on-site, part-time training. Under a preceptor, you’ll apply classroom learning to real-world practice, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring patient service.

You’ll complete a structured training roadmap with KLEs, participate in immunization activities where permitted, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred to have immunization certification when state regulations allow.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in home store and across the market to meet business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel, answer medical questions, and solicit patient history when appropriate under supervision.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs.
