Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy operations, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe and timely dispensing while delivering caring service.

Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap with early responsibilities across store, district, and regional operations, gain hands-on experience, and learn to provide immunizations and patient counseling.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college/school of pharmacy enrolled or accepted.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to learn and apply SOPs and pharmacy workflows.

Responsibilities

• Attend to regular and predictable scheduling, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunizations, patient counseling, and telephonic prescriptions where allowed.
• Maintain documentation, follow SOPs, and demonstrate empathy in patient care.
