Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Intern in Baton Rouge, LA. The 3rd year intern will apply pharmacy school learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, supporting prescription fulfillment, immunizations where allowed, and patient care with empathy and accuracy.

You will learn store and district operations, complete a training roadmap, and gain hands-on experience across pharmacy workflows while maintaining attention to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE‑accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure fast, safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Learn SOPs and apply best practices in daily pharmacy operations.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law and training.
