Job summary

CVS Health in Morgan City, LA is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real store setting, support pharmacy teams, and prepare for a Pharmacist role under a licensed preceptor. You will gain hands-on experience while learning store, district, and regional operations.

You will follow SOPs, assist with prescription fulfillment, counsel patients when appropriate, learn inventory tasks, and participate in immunizations and other services where allowed.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Customer service and team orientation
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Mathematical reasoning for dispensing and inventory
• Problem resolution and patient-centered care
• Physical demands including lifting up to 20 lbs
• Flexibility to travel to stores as needed
