Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Covington, LA. You will rotate through the pharmacy team, applying your didactic pharmacy school knowledge to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist.

This role focuses on safe dispensing, SOP adherence, and delivering compassionate patient care. You'll gain hands-on experience in inventory, patient counseling, and potential immunization activities while developing readiness for a Pharmacist role within CVS Health's store

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment.
• Intern and/or technician licensure in process or possession.
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and patient safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with immunizations if certified or eligible.
