Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Hammond, LA to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you’ll complete a comprehensive training roadmap to understand store, district, and regional operations while ensuring safe and timely prescription fulfillment.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrolled/accepted.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment at pharmacy workstation.
• Follow SOPs and maintain high standards of patient service and care.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law, under supervision.
• Provide empathetic customer service and help resolve patient questions or concerns.
• Assist with inventory tasks, such as stocking and cycle counts, as directed by leadership.
