Job summary

CVS Health in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within a pharmacy team. Under supervision, you’ll complete a comprehensive training roadmap, participate in SOPs, and deliver caring service that promotes patient safety and satisfaction.

This part-time internship covers immunizations, vaccine support, and broader store operations across the district, with opportunities to grow into a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy currently enrolled or accepted.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and counseling under supervision.
• Support immunizations and vaccination workflows where permitted by law.
• Adhere to SOPs, policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.
