Job summary

CVS Health in Sulphur, LA is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences and time with district leaders to develop hands-on skills in pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will support immunization services, ensure safe dispensing, and uphold SOPs while delivering compassionate service to patients.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist pharmacy team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Deliver patient-centered service with empathy and care.
• Participate in comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs.
