Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service in a retail setting. You will follow SOPs, gain hands-on experience, and travel to stores as needed while under supervision of licensed pharmacists.

This part-time role emphasizes training and patient care. Preferred candidates are ACPE-accredited students with intern licensure, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and patient safety.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions when appropriate under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed by state regulation.
• Support inventory activities and maintain store standards and SOPs.
