Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams, learn hands-on in a live retail setting, and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, participate in SOPs, and contribute to safe, accurate dispensing while delivering compassionate patient care.

You will rotate through various workflows, engage in counseling, immunization activities where allowable, and travel between stores in the market to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where required by state law.
