Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and support immunizations and patient services while ensuring safe and accurate prescription processing.

Under a preceptor, you will learn SOPs, participate in drive-thru and in-store operations, and travel to stores as needed to support the market.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer service and team orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication skills: clear verbal and written interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning: calculate prescriptions, days supply and bottle counts.
• Problem resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions appropriately.
• Physical demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, and manual dexterity as required by pharmacy operations.
