Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our retail pharmacies, focusing on applying didactic learning to real-world practice and preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and learn SOPs while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and growing responsibility in pharmacy operations.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians with safe prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Provide empathetic patient service and support immunizations and other pharmacist-led services where allowed.
• Follow SOPs to ensure accuracy, safety, and privacy in all patient interactions.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support business needs.
• Maintain attendance and complete required training within designated timelines.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure
