Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy practice. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and ensure patients’ prescriptions are filled safely and promptly with compassionate service.

The role emphasizes SOP alignment, patient safety, and opportunities to grow toward becoming a Pharmacist. ACPE accreditation and intern/licensure readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot quickly to meet patient needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients and collaborate with the pharmacy team.
• Communication: interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
