Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team to deliver safe, compliant patient care. You will learn to use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions under supervision.

You will help provide a distinctive customer experience, follow pharmacy policies, and participate in training to develop knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy practice, including patient counseling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team in accordance with regulations.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide patient counseling and health services under supervision.
• Maintain inventory and assist with pharmacy operations and accuracy.
