Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and team in delivering excellent patient care and accurate prescription processing. You will learn pharmacy systems, engage customers, and uphold Walgreens policies and procedures while developing professional skills.

You will work under supervision, with emphasis on patient counseling, service excellence, and adherence to regulatory guidelines, including flexible scheduling where needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team members in providing patient care and processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Learn and follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Help with inventory management and cash handling as assigned.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and support quality practices.
