Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in delivering excellent patient care and service. You will assist with processing prescriptions, obtaining patient data, and upholding pharmacy policies while learning through hands-on experiences with the team.

You will gain exposure to patient counseling, health services within the state scope of practice for interns, and maintain accurate inventory and workflows.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team to provide excellent patient experience.
• Process prescriptions and use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Support inventory management and ensure proper stocking and cleanliness of the Pharmacy Department.
• Deliver patient counseling and health services within state scope of practice for interns.
