Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and assist in providing the best patient experience while supporting pharmacists and the pharmacy team. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information, process prescriptions, and help deliver customer service excellence.

Under supervision, you will participate in dispensing, counseling, and health services, while adhering to policies and procedures and contributing to a compliant, courteous pharmacy operation.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team in processing prescriptions.
• Provide patient care and services within state scope of practice including patient counseling.
• Support inventory management and maintain pharmacy area clean and stocked.
