Job summary

Walgreens is looking for a Pharmacy Intern to grow alongside the pharmacy team in a patient‑centered setting. You will help the pharmacist and staff by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions, while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

You will learn and apply pharmacy policy, procedures, and evolving customer service practices, including patient counseling under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and adherence to regulatory

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Assists pharmacists under supervision and supports pharmacy operations as per SOPs.
• Reviews and complies with pharmacy codes of conduct and quality improvement practices.
• Participates in patient counseling and health services within the state scope of practice.
• Raises prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follows policy.
