Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver patient care, support safety, and assist with daily store operations.
Key duties include patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and exceptional customer service. You will participate in required training and help patients with medications and health program enrollment.
Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years relevant work experience.
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular attendance.
Responsibilities
- Lead with Heart and provide empathetic patient care assistance.
- Support safety, regulatory requirements and quality assurance in the pharmacy.
- Assist with inventory, workflow management and customer service.
- Complete required training within state guidelines and timelines.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team under licensed pharmacist supervision.
