Job summary

CVS Health in Ohio seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply school learning in real-world pharmacy practice within our stores. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap, supporting pharmacists and technicians while delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience—from immunizations to counseling—while developing skills for a future Pharmacist role, with schedule flexibility and store-wide collaboration.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over time and pivot between tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team, providing courteous service.
• Assist in immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services where allowed by law.

ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern/Technician licensure (in process or possessed)
