Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice, under a preceptor’s guidance, and follow SOPs to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and excellent patient care.

You will gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations. You will learn under supervision, assist with immunizations where permitted, and potentially staff off-site clinics.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists and Technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Provide empathetic customer service and communicate clearly with patients and team members.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law and training.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to cover shifts and support operations.
