Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and clinical services at our Meijer Pharmacy.

You will assist patients, manage inventory, and work with third-party billing under state-specific intern licensure. Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program, possess an intern license, and demonstrate communication skills, confidentiality, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat, legible penmanship; strong organizational skills.

• Understanding of patient confidentiality and pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and patient support in person and by phone.
• Assist patients with product selection and pricing inquiries.
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third party adjudication.
• Manage inventory and balance on hand; receive orders and vendor coordination.
• Support clinical services and third-party functions as needed.
