Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team. You will provide customer service, process and fill prescriptions, handle third party functions, and assist with inventory management.

The role supports clinical services and patient care under pharmacist supervision. The ideal candidate is enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school, holds a state-specific Pharmacy Intern License, and demonstrates a positive attitude with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: communicate with patients in person and by phone; assist with product selection; obtain medication prices.
• Processing and filling prescriptions: data entry, third party adjudication, labeling, will call dispensing.
• Third-party functions.
• Inventory management: update balance on hand, order products, check-in and store orders, process vendor charge backs.
• Clinical services.
