Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings within CVS stores. Under a licensed pharmacist's supervision you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience with prescription fulfillment, customer service, and immunizations, and prepare for a Pharmacist role across store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescription fulfillment is safe and accurate.
• Learn SOPs and comply with store, district, and regional operations.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and counseling where appropriate.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by state regulations.
