Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world practice within a CVS Pharmacy team. You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists and technicians, and help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while maintaining patient-centered service.

Under a preceptor, you’ll complete a structured training roadmap with hands-on experience, gain exposure to store operations, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel and interact with patients, providing empathetic, patient-centered service where appropriate.
• Assist in inventory activities and prepare for training under supervision.
