CVS Health in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and effective patient care while preparing for increasing responsibilities. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations, counseling patients, process prescriptions, and collaborate with Pharmacists and Technicians.

Flexible scheduling and exposure to operational pharmacy duties across the store.

Formación

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when needed
• Maintain inventory and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law
• Deliver high-quality customer service and work with the pharmacy team
