Job summary

CVS Health in Florida seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations within our Retail locations. Under the guidance of a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and understand store, district, and regional workflows while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

You will assist with prescription processing, customer interactions, and support immunization services where allowed by state law, while

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and best practices; demonstrate empathy and care in patient interactions.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where allowed by law.
• Maintain inventory activities and help with cycles counts and returns-to-stocks.
