Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Florida to join our pharmacy team at CVS locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, work under a preceptor, and complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to prepare you for responsibility as a pharmacist.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely, while developing clinical and communication skills, and supporting immunizations and other patient services as

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians in daily operations.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and accurate prescriptions.
• Provide empathetic patient care and counseling within scope of practice.
• Support vaccine immunization efforts and other patient health services where allowed.
• Learn and apply clinical and technical knowledge to assist patients.
