Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our in-store pharmacy teams in Miami, Florida. You’ll complete a comprehensive training roadmap, supporting pharmacists and technicians while preparing for increased responsibility.

As part of your role, you’ll engage in safe prescription fulfillment, immunization support, customer service, and daily pharmacy operations. This part-time opportunity emphasizes professional growth, teamwork, and patient care.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college enrollment or active status.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete training roadmap focusing on KLEs and safety in operations.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians with pharmacy workflow (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off).
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Process telephonic prescriptions and communicate with prescribers when allowed.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and training to pharmacy team.
• Assist with inventory tasks and cycle counts.
