Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering patient-centered care within our retail stores. The role focuses on a structured training roadmap, under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, to build competency and prepare for greater responsibilities.

Interns will assist with immunizations and other services where allowed by state regulation, while ensuring compliance with pharmacy workflows, safety standards, and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required or in progress.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs; progression with increased responsibility over time.
• Support pharmacy teams to ensure safe and effective prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist; assist with immunizations and other services as allowed by state law.

Education

Intern/technician licensure in process or possessed
