Job summary

CVS Health invites third-year pharmacy intern candidates to join our store teams. You will engage in a structured training roadmap, support pharmacists with prescription processing, and help deliver immunization services where allowed by state law, all under the supervision of licensed professionals.

This part-time internship emphasizes patient engagement, accuracy, and compliant care, while you develop clinical and technical skills in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to travel to stores within the market as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on patient safety and pharmacy operations.
• Support pharmacists and technicians with safe prescription fulfillment and patient interactions.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision and participate in immunization services where allowed.
• Assist with inventory tasks and maintain accurate records per policy.
• Demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and adherence to laws and company procedures.
